How to help

There are many ways you can help us save our strays.

Adopt

The more animals we find homes for, the more animals we can rescue! Check out our dogs and

our cats for adoption and if you find someone (or two) you think will be perfect for your family, fill out our adoption enquiry form.

Become a foster carer

We need foster carers to help care for our rescued cats and dogs and we also need special homes with experienced dog people for some of our dogs. If you think you can help by fostering please contact us or fill in our adoption enquiry form for the animal that you think you could help us with.

Become a Faithful Friend

You can help by sponsoring Save Our Strays with regular monthly or annual donations. All donations over $2 are tax deductible. For more details visit our Become a Faithful Friend page.

SOS appreciates any financial assistance you can give. All donations go directly to assist in the upkeep of the shelter, veterinarian bills and food, bedding and medication for the animals.

We always have a wish list of things we need for our strays. If you can help us out with any of these these items, please contact us.

Buy something

All proceeds of sales from our store go directly towards helping our strays, so why not show your support and wear a Save Our Strays t-shirt or hat?

Leave a bequest

Making a will is important – it gives you the opportunity to safeguard what is important to you and how you want your assets to be managed. Including a gift to your favourite charity is one way to continue your support.

The following example provides possible wording for a bequest to Save Our Strays Rescue. Be sure to review the wording of your bequest with your legal advisor before inclusion in your will.

"I bequeath to

Save Our Strays Rescue, 1 Broxbourne St, Westmead, NSW, 2145

ABN 88 930 915 433, for its general purposes,

the whole of my estate,

or ______% of my estate,

or the residue of my estate
